Life’s joyous rhythm in a single glance.

Grew up in a Northern California almond (pronounced AAAA-mond) orchard where my chores included dodging bees and climbing trees. Got obsessed with travel and photography early—probably as an escape from the bees. Studied international business in college, dreaming of being an international executive, but mostly just plotting my escape. Graduated, took one big trip, and got completely hooked. Worked odd jobs while on the road to keep traveling—canvassed for Greenpeace, washed windows (terribly), and even helped protest at the Sydney Opera House, where climbers hung giant sunglasses off the roof for the ozone hole. Yes, it was a thing. Google it.

In between my many travels, I worked as a location manager for movies, scouting incredible spots and managing sets. It was chaotic, unpredictable, and honestly, a lot of fun. When the film work slowed down, I said yes to crewing on a sailboat. Because, why not? Sailed over 4,000 nautical miles, making beds and cocktails for fancy yacht guests. But eventually, the pull of photography brought me back to land.

I spent a few years assisting photographers, producing and running studios, going to art school, and finally launching my own photography business.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me hiking, refreshing flight deals, playing bocce, or volunteering as the “official” high school baseball photographer (payment: sunflower seeds and questionable hot dogs). I pinch myself daily because I get to call Sausalito—an artsy little town on the SF Bay—home. It’s basically like living inside a postcard, minus the bees.
